Relationship Not Routine

The Lord is not looking for legalism in order to please Him. He wants a relationship with you and wants your heart. It is man that feels the need to fall back on tradition in pursuit of salvation. People often think that Christians should look or sound a certain way. They feel that you should be always putting on a show. This is not what God wants at all. You cannot reach new generations if you are stuck in the past. You can have christian rap, rock, and alternative music. In fact it is a great way to show that Christians are people too. It is true that you must maintain strong morals based on the Word. You can also be an individual as well though. There is no instruction to dress like this or speak and pray like this. The Word is clear that the Spirit will lead your steps down the correct path. Praise God that we are not all the same! God made you special and he loves you how you are. Just give your heart to Him and grow your relationship!
